As a Virtual Assistant, I get to work behind the scenes with some fabulous and inspiring business owners, people who are passionate about what they do, but who also recognise they don’t have to do it all alone.
This month's spotlight features the amazing Charlie Sexton, the owner of That's Sow Charlie and founder of The Growth & Freedom Club networking group.

Tell us about your business – what do you do and who do you help?
My business is a subscription box and product gardening business, to help women get into growing veg and find their happy place. I also run planting workshops.
What inspired you to start your business?
My inspiration for starting the business was that I found my allotment as a place of solace when my Dad became ill. I used it to process what was going on. I wanted to help other women to find a place for themselves to grow veg and find their own solace.
What made you decide to work with a Virtual Assistant?
I'd met Paula at my own networking group and jelled with her straight away.
What tasks or areas do I support you with?
I trusted Paula to help support me with ad hoc work on my business. I needed work on bits and pieces.
How has working with a VA benefited you and your business?
It's freed me up to do other things. It's made me feel comfortable that I can trust Paula to take on what I've asked her to do.
What would you say to someone thinking about hiring a VA?
Use Paula. She can help you with anything you need. She's so organised, technically minded and will find out how to do something new if she's not sure.
